Information Request NPH00-1476/20

I am writing to respond to your request for information received on Tuesday 3rd November which has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI).

Your request has been given the unique Information Request No. NPH00-1476/20.  Please quote this reference on all correspondence relating to this request.

You have requested the following information. Our response is shown in bold.

Two FOI requests:

1. I would like the data collected recently used to determine the number of tenant’s vehicles that have been approved for access to the car park by providing proof of ownership and being driven legally. Affected property Woodstock, Billing Road.

Northampton Partnership Homes are able to confirm there are 49 flats in the block. A total of 22 flats currently have access to the car park. These will be the people who have given evidence of car ownership at this address.

2. There were also claims made by NPH employee Helen Town that at some point last year cars were counted on the access road that were identified as being non-tenants. I know this was impossible as we hadn’t registered our vehicles back then, but I would like it confirming in writing that such an investigation never occurred.

With regards to a count, NPH staff visited site on a number of occasions and challenges were made to people parking cars and walking away. All the residents were written to on more than one occasion and given an opportunity to confirm if they owned a car and as such needed a parking space.
