Update - 17th March

We want to make sure that we keep communicating with you about how the coronavirus outbreak will affect your services from NPH. Advice from the Government has changed in the short time since our last news post and whilst our team is pulling together to make sure service continues, we are having to monitor the situation daily and make necessary adjustments. Please take note of the following updates.

Repairs

We are unable to book non-urgent repairs at this time. We may also need to delay appointments that have already been booked. We understand that this is inconvenient for you and we will return to normal service as soon as we possibly can. Taking this action will help us provide an emergency service and keep residents safe.

Visits from any of our team members

We hope that you understand the need to ask you a few questions before we visit you at home. We will call you in advance of the visit and will ask you whether anyone in the household is self-isolating or has symptoms of the virus and whether there is anything else we need to be aware of. Our priority is to keep you and our team members safe.

Housing Officer surgeries

All Housing Officer surgeries have been cancelled until further notice. If you need to speak to your Housing Officer about a housing related issue, please go to our contact your Housing Officer page.

Information

We are following advice and guidance from official sources and our managment team is meeting daily to establish what this means for our staff and residents. As this situation is continually developing, we don't want to publish information that could soon be out of date. We would therefore recommend that you visit the NHS and Government websites for latest updates.

Household income

If your income has been affected by the coronavirus outbreak, we do understand the financial pressure you may be dealing with. If you think you will struggle to keep up with rent payments, we want to reassure you that we are here to help. We will work with you to agree a flexible plan that is specific to your individual circumstances. Our priority is to keep you in your home.

We urge you to get in touch as soon as possible to discuss your situation. We have team members who are specially trained to support you with financial issues. You can call us on 0300 330 7003 or contact the rent income team by email.

Welfare

If you are worried about your household's or a neighbour's welfare, please contact us on 0300 330 7003.

Finally, we would like to thank you for your co-operation at this uncertain time. Take care and be safe.
