Coronavirus update

News Date:
Tuesday, March 24, 2020

The safety of our residents and colleagues is our main priority and we are working hard to continue with essential services.

Repairs update

Following the latest briefings from the Prime Minister, we all need to stay at home except to get essential shopping and medicines or for key workers to get to their place of work.

Some of our services remain critical and we continue to operate an emergency repairs service. An emergency is work that:

  • removes immediate danger to people;

  • avoids serious damage to your home; or

  • is required to make the property secure.

If an emergency arises, please call 0300 330 7003.

Loss of income

If your income has been affected by the coronavirus outbreak, we do understand the financial pressure you may be dealing with. If you think you will struggle to keep up with rent payments, we want to reassure you that we are here to help. We will work with you to agree a flexible plan that is specific to your individual circumstances. Our priority is to keep you in your home.

We urge you to get in touch as soon as possible to discuss your situation. We have team members who are specially trained to support you with financial issues. You can call us on 0300 330 7003 or contact the rent income team by email

If your income has not been affected, please continue to make payments as usual. While we are all advised to stay at home, it could be the right time to start paying by direct debit. You can set this up online by heading to Your NPH from the homepage. Alternatively, you can call us on 0300 330 7003.

Calls to residents

Our team is also making telephone calls to residents whom we are aware fall into vulnerable groups. If you are struggling to manage and need to get in touch with us before we call you, or we may not be aware of your vulnerability, please get in touch on 0300 330 7003.

Please also be aware that most of our team is working from home, so calls may be from a mobile number. If you are worried about the identity of a caller, you can call us on 0300 330 7003 to check.

Council new build programme

Northampton Partnership Homes is following Government guidance that construction of affordable housing is considered essential.

Workers on this site are building much needed council homes for local people. We are doing everything we can to get these homes ready for those in most need to move into.

Please respect our construction workers at this difficult time. They are working in a challenging environment to provide homes for people who really need them.

Annual gas servicing

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has confirmed that all landlords must carry out essential gas servicing even while we are social distancing.

We wanted to let you know what we are doing to make sure your gas supply is safe to use whilst we keep each other safe with regards to Covid-19.

We will be in contact over the coming weeks to find a suitable appointment and ensure you are comfortable with the service we will be carrying out. If you have any concerns, please get in touch on 0300 330 7003.

Blocked toilets

We have had increased calls recently regarding blocked toilets. We know some households may have low supplies, but please only flush toilet paper.

We are thinking of you all at this time. Stay safe and well.

Best wishes from Team NPH.
