We recently shared news that NPH tenant Emma, part of the community group Right Resolution CiC, had been shortlisted for a UK award – The Jewson's building better community’s fund.

2400 organisations in the UK applied to the fund with 11 shortlisted for a chance to win £250,000 in building supplies.

Emma’s Right Resolution finished 2nd overall in the public vote.

At a glitzy awards event, Right Resultion CiC were awarded £10,000 of building materials to help kick start a new community café in Kings Heath. Emma even got to meet George Clarke, celebrity architect and the host for the event, posing for a photo.

Right Resolution CIC supports children and young people that have previously been in care. The community café will be a chance for care leavers to gain vital skills in life and opportunities into work, with skills learnt at the café.

The café is planning to be launched in Kings Heath. Keep an eye on this space for more information.
