Good neighbour poster competition

News Date:
Thursday, July 15, 2021

For Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week 2021, we want people to think about what being a good neighbour means to them, and we need your help!

We're running a competition for children where they can design a poster to share what they think it means to be a good neighbour. The winners will receive an exciting bundle of art supplies, and one overall winner will have their poster design displayed in our community hubs across Northampton!

Some ideas could include:

  • Putting your rubbish in a bin, and not leaving it for others to tidy up
  • Being kind and polite to everyone in your community
  • Helping and looking out for each other

The competition is open to anyone aged between 4 and 11 years of age. A fantastic local artist will judge entries in two categories, and a winner will be picked from each. The categories are:

  • 4-8 years old
  • 8-11 years old

Children entering the competition will need a parent or guardian's permission to enter. We'll also need the parent or guardian's contact details so we can get in touch with the winners. You can download the competition template here: Good neighbour poster competition template

The poster and consent form can be emailed to us at comms@nph.org.uk or posted to:

The closing date for entries is Friday 30th July at 5pm. Competition terms and conditions are available here: Good neighbour poster competition terms and conditions

We can’t wait to see your ideas!
