New board member opportunities currently advertised with NPH

Are you passionate about housing and looking for an opportunity to make a difference in Northampton? We have various opportunities to join our existing board of directors, who oversee how we do things at Northampton Partnership Homes.

You need to be enthusiastic and have time to commit. Board members are volunteers and do not get paid, however in return this role will offer new experiences, training & development and the opportunity to be at the forefront of the decision-making process at NPH. Expenses will be reimbursed. 

Tenant board member

If you think this role is for you, why not come to our information session to find out more. You can meet existing board members and even get support to complete your application.

When? Thursday 18th July at 16:00

Where? NPH office, Westbridge Depot, 9-13 St James Mill Road,       Northampton, NN5 5JW.

Independent board member

We’re looking for an independent board member with any of the following expertise:

  • Commercial experience
  • Residential development, project risks and funding
  • Awareness of the local political environment in which we operate

To register your interest in the independent board member role or for more information, please download and complete the independent board member application pack and return to our governance team before midday on Friday 26th July.

Please note tenants and employees of Northampton Partnership Homes and councillors of Northampton Borough Council do not qualify for this role.

Happy to Help Board Member

We have recently launched a subsidiary of NPH, Happy to Help. It’s a community interest company (CIC) that was set up to improve the health, wellbeing, economy, environment and availability of opportunity to the benefit of NPH customers and communities.

Happy to Help has its own board and is looking for a board director to help deliver exciting plans to support communities across Northampton.

Come to our introductory session where you can find out more about Happy to Help, meet existing board members and how you could be a part of this new and exciting CIC.
