NPH tenant Sarah lives in Thorplands. She has recently been granted £4100 in funding through the Northants Community Foundation to support young people and combat social isolation for older people in her community.
We’d like to congratulate Sarah!
Sarah, who is Chair of the Thorplands Residents Association, will be using the funding to run sports sessions during the summer holidays, set up dance workshops at nearby Emmanuel Church sports hall, as well as adult education sessions including cookery and using computers for older and younger people.
Sarah said, “I can’t wait to start planning and implementing the activities. It will be great to get the community together!”
Each session will be run by Thorplands Residents Association volunteers.
