White Ribbon Day 2021 - Can you make the promise?

News Date:
Thursday, November 25, 2021

This White Ribbon Day, can you make the promise to never commit, remain silent about or excuse violence against women?

White Ribbon Day is held annually on the 25th November to raise awareness of violence against women. This year's theme is 'All Men Can', which was developed after the murder of Sarah Everard led to lots of discussion around women's experiences of men's violence against them. It also opened up conversations about how men can stand with women to take action and make a difference.

White Ribbon is encouraging as many men as possible to think carefully and make the White Ribbon Promise to never commit, excuse or remain silent about male violence against women. If this is something you can commit to, or would like to find out more, go to: Promise — White Ribbon UK
