The NPH community bus service is being replaced
At NPH we really want to make sure that all of our residents as well as the wider community, have the chance to talk to us and tell us what they think. Until recently, residents were able to join us on the NPH Bus which made stops at various locations across Northampton. This service is no longer running as from December 9th 2024.
However, during the last few months we’ve been reviewing how we engage with our residents and we’re currently revisiting our more formal routes for involvement such as our resident panels. We’ve also been looking at the ways that we engage with residents in the community and where they live.
For the last few years, the focal point for our community engagement has been the NPH Community Bus. It’s been popular with a small number of people who really look forward to its regular stops. However, we’re keen to make our engagement as accessible as we can.
So, in the new year we’re shifting our focus to engaging where people already are – in well established community centres and public spaces like the Grosvenor Shopping Centre and Weston Favell Centre.
We’ll continue to hold our Engagement Café events where residents can speak to front-line NPH staff face-to-face. And in the new year we’ll be launching a programme of drop-ins and surgeries around the town.
So, while the NPH bus has made its last stop, there will still be plenty of ways to engage with NPH – whether that’s where you live, at events or on our social channels.
