
Apply for Community Funding
Happy To Help is a social enterprise subsidiary of NPH. The Happy To Help Communities Fund offers funding and support to community groups, projects and causes in Northampton that make a positive difference to their community.
The Communities Fund has provided funding to many different groups across Northampton, from local resident groups to the county’s Toy Library. It has funded room hire costs, trips out for youth groups and senior citizens, catering costs for drumming groups and ‘knit n natters’, support for local food banks and much more besides.
Last year groups across Northampton received the following grants from the Fund:
• £150 activity resources for an art group
• £300 Jubilee celebration for a community centre
• £175 community picnic refreshments for a cultural association
• £50 plants and compost for a community garden
• £250 bingo activity resources for local bingo group
• £300 transport costs and fishing supplies for youth fishing club
• £300 communal flowers and event costs for a community association
• £300 Arts, Crafts and Carnival supplies for a youth group
• £280 craft supplies for a residents association
• £250 shed for a gardening group
• £275 Vikings heritage event costs for a local parks group
• £125 activity resources for a local impact group
• £300 activity resources homework club for a cultural association
• £300 event costs for a residents group
• £200 activity resources, transport costs and hire for a Guides group
• £250 group refreshments for a Rainbows/Brownies/Guides group
• £250 travel costs for a Rainbows/Brownies/Guides/Rangers group
• £250 subscription costs for a Brownies group
• £300 activity resources for a charity
• £292.05 plants and bulbs for a community gardening group
• £250 event costs for a Scout band
• £300 coach costs for a senior citizens group
• £156 projector and screen for a community group
• £300 transport costs and refreshments for a community group
• £160 camping equipment for a Scouts group
• £50 plants and compost for a community garden
• £300 activity costs for a youth charity
• £300 youth group lunches for a charity
If your group and its activities have a positive impact on the lives of NPH residents, Happy to Help would love to receive your funding application. Groups can apply for funding up to £300 and grants can be applied for at any time of the year.
