
Next Resident Engagement Cafe July 23rd 2024
Our Engagement Team at NPH continue to review how we connect with our tenants and who is engaging with us. It’s vital that we offer avenues to all residents to be able to get involved and have their opinions heard.
At the end of April this year we launched a new-style of Engagement Café to give residents another opportunity to meet and chat with staff across all areas of the business. It’s an informal style cafe whereby anyone can drop-in – no appointment necessary.
We picked a central location and a spot familiar to many – the Grosvenor Centre’s ‘Gathering Space’. We were happy to see residents of all ages use the Café to ask questions, give us feedback and resolve issues around their tenancy.
NPH resident, Nader, made the most of having different NPH teams represented at the event – it meant he could address a few things at the same time. Nader said “It’s been really useful today. Especially for people who are busy, this type of event takes away the stress of dealing with issues. I have found the Café very helpful and I got the support I came for.”
The revamped Engagement Café is happening again this month on Tuesday July 23rd in the same location – the Grosvenor Centre’s ‘Gathering Space’.
No booking is required and residents are encouraged to come along to ask staff questions or to share improvement ideas. Staff members from various teams will be in attendance to offer support, guidance and advice.
The following teams will be represented at the next Engagement Café event:
Housing Support
Our Housing Support team can offer you guidance on any support-related issues you are having and help you to maintain a positive tenancy.
Housing Management Team
The Housing Management team will be there to provide more details around the launch of the new Estate Inspections timetable.
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) / Tenancy Compliance
Come and discuss any ASB related issues with the Tenancy Compliance team.
Customer Engagement
Come along and find out how to get involved and help us improve our services. We want to hear your views on Repairs, ASB and how we handle Complaints.
Rent Income
NPH’s team of Rent Income Officers will be on hand to guide and support you with queries about rent and money management.
Property Maintenance
Do you need to report a repair or would like an update on an existing repair? Our repairs team can offer advice around any repairs-related issues.
Asset Management
Find out what our Asset Management team have planned for your area.
Mutual Exchange
Do you want to move to a different area, bigger or smaller property? Mutual Exchange is an opportunity for swapping your property – come and get advice on eligibility and how to do this.
Communications Team
Do you have any feedback on how NPH communicate with our residents? Would you like to meet the people behind the comms? They’ll be here to answer any comms related questions.
In addition to the various team members present, there will also be a suggestion box, so if residents are in the area, but don’t have time or would prefer not to talk in person, they can write improvement ideas down and leave them with us to review.
