Nathan Brough, Regional Director at ENGIE, said:

“Apprenticeships are a great way to take the first steps towards a career in construction, providing an opportunity to earn a living while learning new skills. As a company, we are committed to leaving a lasting legacy in the communities in which we work, so we’re delighted to be able to offer these positions in Northampton.”

Apprentices will be working on site four days a week and attending college locally once a week. As well as earning a salary, after two years, all apprentices will be fully qualified.

Why choose an apprenticeship?

Today is Employability Day (29th June) which raises awareness of the help that is available for job seekers finding work. Taking an apprenticeship is a great way to get hands on experience while studying towards an industry recognised qualification and earning a wage.

NPH’s recent apprentice Anthony, who chose to study a Business Administration apprentice after his studies in college said: “Go for it! It’s an experience you can’t get in college or school. You’re getting yourself out and earning your own money”.
