Please find a copy of the Local Lettings Plan for New Build 1 Bed houses attached. Of the 21 new build Older Persons Houses:
- 6 have been allocated to applicants who were downsizing
- 0 have been allocated to applicants who met the Older Persons Housing criteria were in emergency Band for another reason; not downsizing
- 4 have been allocated to applicants who met the Older Persons Housing criteria were in Band A
- 2 have been allocated to applicants who met the Older Persons Housing criteria were in Band B
- 9 are awaiting hand over/sign up
Of the properties allocated to applicants who were downsizing they moved from the following size property:
- 6 applicants downsized from a 2-bed property
- 0 applicants downsized from a 3-bed property
- 0 applicants downsized from a 4-bed property
- 0 applicants downsized from a 5-bed property
Please also note that whilst a preference is given for downsizers, once the short list is exhausted, we move to the Band A and Band B policy.
