NPH is planning two pilot estate inspections in Bellinge on Tuesday 16th April 2024 and Kings Heath on Tuesday 23rd April 2024.
The inspections aim to proactively identify any issues on these estates that can be addressed by NPH or referred to partner agencies. It is our hope that these inspections make the estates a nicer and safer environment for our tenants and residents to live in. We will be texting residents living in these areas to ask for their participation.
An NPH Housing Officer and other local stakeholders including Councillors, Environmental Wardens, and PCSOs (subject to their availability) will attend the inspection to give their views and help us sort out any identified issues.
The Estate Inspections will primarily focus on land managed by NPH and will cover the following types of issues:
- Grounds maintenance
- Fly tipping/littering
- External repairs
- Car parking facilities
- Abandoned vehicles
- Garage blocks
- Pathway repairs
- Areas of anti social behaviour concern
- Vandalism (including graffiti)
- Caretaking standards
- Signage

If these initial pilot estate inspections are a success NPH may roll out the inspections more widely to encompass many more estates where NPH tenants live. Please check the website for information about future inspections.
