One of our key areas of Neighbourhood Investment and Development is Thorplands.
Thorplands is a borough in the eastern district of Northampton which holds so much history. Since the creation of NPH in 2015, we have focused a lot of works in the area to bring properties up to standard and to bring new homes to the area.
We recently completed an exciting development named Oak Tree Rise. The scheme is made up of 8 semi-dethatched bungalows with a management suite to enable 24/7 support for the tenants.
Then just across the road we are continuing works on the old Tanners pub site. Located on Farm Field Court, we are creating 17 new homes, and have given the new post office a new store front.
Across the rest of the area, we have been completing and continuing with our external works. This has included;
- new cladding;
- windows;
- doors;
- and rainwater goods.
Feedback from residents has been very positive from those that have undergone the works. And we are continuing these works whilst ensuring our local residents find the process as easy as possible.
