Fraud
We use the counter fraud services offered by West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) to detect and investigate cases of fraud.
WNC accept referrals from NPH staff or from members of the public. These are risk assessed to confirm if an investigation is required and if appropriate an investigation is opened.
All reasonable lines of enquiry are conducted and recorded in line with their procedures and protocol. This includes intelligence checks, home visits, informal or formal interviews. Criminal action is considered where there is sufficient evidence.
Report any concerns about fraud to WNC by emailing: Reportfraud.NCC@Westnorthants.gov.uk
You can find more information about fraud on WNC’s website here.
Information requests
Requests for information should be addressed to the Data Protection team. You may find the following useful when requesting information:
- There must be a name and address to send our response (this can be an e-mail address but if you require paper copies we will need a postal address).
- There is no need to mention the Freedom of Information Act 2000 or Data Protection Act 2018, but may help your request to be dealt with correctly.
- You do not need to say why you want the information, but you will need to provide details about what is being requested. This should be as clear as possible to help us locate the information you require.
The easiest way to make an application is to email us.
